Behind the Scenes: Queensbury NY Bathroom Remodel
We had the pleasure of completing this gorgeous custom bathroom remodel in Queensbury in Upstate NY. The bathroom needed a complete remodel, from new floors, new walls, new vanity, heating flooring system – it really needed the works!
We used a beautiful mosaic tile on the shower floor, the shower walls as well as in the niches (the areas to hold your soap in the shower walls.) The lifts in the shower also have hidden vents that vent out of the home which is a great feature!
For this spa like bathroom, we added a traditional white soaking tub that was 6-foot-long tub and 19 inches deep. Perfect for a great night of relaxing with a glass of wine!
We also built half walls that will have glass installed all the way to the ceiling.
We added a beautiful Soap Stone “his and hers” bathroom vanity. Who says that his and hers bathrooms needs to compromise on style?
We also installed heated electric floors under the tile, which is great for the cold winter mornings. The waterproofing system we used in the shower and on the bathroom floor is called the Schluter system which adds warmth and a touch of luxury that brings your bathroom floor to a whole new level.
Overall, the client was very pleased with their brand new custom bathroom from top to bottom.
